Rules

These rules keep raids fair, towns stable, and the community fun. Staff discretion applies.

⚔️ I. RAIDING & COMBAT

  1. 1.1 Combat Logging
Disconnecting or "fledging" while in active combat or during a town raid is prohibited. Doing so will result in a combat-kill and potential inventory wipe.
  2. 1.2 Raiding Rights
Raiding via Lodestone mechanics and Lockpicking is a core feature. Stealing and killing are permitted; however, "Total Griefing" (lavacasting or completely leveling a town's infrastructure) is not allowed.
  3. 1.3 The "Inside" Job
Joining a town with the sole intent to betray, rob, or sabotage them is fully permitted. Choose your citizens wisely.

💰 II. TOWN UPKEEP & ECONOMY

  1. 2.1 Upkeep Requirements
All towns must maintain a positive balance in their Town Bank. Upkeep is deducted automatically via the MySQL system every 24 hours.
  2. 2.2 Inactivity & Decay
If a town's bank hits $0. The town will be marked DELETED after 24 hours and all chests/blocks will become world-editable (open to griefing).
  3. 2.3 Claim Blocking
Creating "ghost towns" or tiny claims specifically to block another town’s expansion or pathing is considered an exploit and will be deleted by staff.

🛡️ III. TECHNICAL & FAIR PLAY

  1. 3.1 Modified Clients
Use of Fly, Kill-Aura, Reach, or X-Ray is an immediate permanent ban. Our Custom Anti-Cheat logs all movement and combat anomalies.
  2. 3.2 Lag Machines
Intentionally creating redstone clocks, entity loops, or chunk-loading machines to drop the TPS will result in an immediate base wipe and hardware ban.
  3. 3.3 Exploit Reporting
If you discover a bug in the OzTowns plugin (Raiding, Lodestones, or Upkeep), you must report it. Abusing bugs for profit is a bannable offense.

🗣️ IV. COMMUNITY CONDUCT

  1. 4.1 Toxicity
Excessive harassment, slurs, or sharing personal information (Doxxing) will not be tolerated. Keep the rivalry within the game.
  2. 4.2 Staff Discretion
Admins reserve the right to intervene if a player's actions are deemed harmful to the server’s technical stability or long-term growth.
